Detailed Product Description
The tube bundle heat exchanger will be installed on top of a natural gas genset to be used as CHP unit (Cogeneration of Heat and Power) to produce simultaneously electricity and heat from a natural gas genset. The thermal capacity of the gas engines exhaust gases (approx. 500 C°) is transferred via the heat exchanger to water as transport medium for heating purposes.
This heat exchanger is used for exhaust gas inlet/exit. Heat transfer area:4.7m2, material of shell: SS304, material of tubes: SS321.
The design pressure is 25 bar for the tube side. The pressure test is to conducted with 15 bar concerning the water side (water entry, water exit) and with 5 bar concerning the gas side (gas entry, gas exit).
